Feline care - sneezes and coughs




A student recently asked: I thought I cured my cat of possible asthma coughing and sneezing last year but it's back. Any particular energy medicine for upper respiratory symptoms in cats would be appreciated.


Upper respiratory symptoms in cats often show up when there’s:

  • Stress or change (new animal, new human, routine shift)

  • Grief or separation anxiety

  • A challenged immune system

  • Environmental irritation (cold, damp, drafts)

Energetically, this usually involves:

  • Lung & Heart fields

  • Triple Warmer (stress response)

  • Thymus / immune energy

  • Upper chakras (throat, heart) so work on those

Also …

Thymus Tapping (Immune Support)

Excellent for sneezing, congestion, and general resistance.

This can also bring the body into a temporary state of balance which in turn will support her self-healing.

How:

  • Use one or two fingers

  • Gently tap the centre of the chest (between the front legs). If she doesn’t like tapping, however gentle then do it in the biofield.

  • 10–20 light taps

  • Once or twice daily

Many cats lean into this instinctively.

Remember to smile, breathe and 'talk to the energies'



Triple Warmer Calming Strokes

Stress often worsens respiratory symptoms.

How:

  • Start in front of the ears and then move down behind the ears

  • Slowly stroke down the neck and off the front legs

  • Last 2 strokes go along the spine to the tail and off the tip

  • Long, soothing strokes

  • Repeat 3–5 times

This helps calm inflammation by settling the nervous system.


Lung Meridian Support (Very Light Touch)


Option A – Chest Hold

  • One hand on the upper chest

  • One hand on the upper back

  • Hold quietly for 30–60 seconds

  • Imagine Figure 8's moving between the two palms, these will activate the 'troubleshooting' energies of the Extraordinary vessels (Radiant Circuits)

Option B – Front Leg Sweep

  • TRACE LUNG MERIDIAN Lightly stroke the inside of the front legs from chest/shoulder to paw  -  PAUSE OVER PAWS – and massage for a few seconds - you will be activating the source points that literally hyperlink energy to the organs to support healing.

  • 2–3 times each side

This supports lung energy and breathing ease.


Cross-Crawl Hold (If she Allows)

Helpful if symptoms appear with anxiety or overwhelm.

How:

  • Gently place your right hand on left shoulder area

  • Left hand on right hip or flank

  • Hold for 20–30 seconds

  • Imagine energies running the pathway between your hands

  • Brush down the diagonal line between the two

  • Switch sides

This balances left/right brain and calms over-alertness.
