Well, we are approaching the end of January and it seems as if I blinked and the festivities evaporated!

AND FINALLY ......
The Year of the Horse is part of the Chinese Zodiac, a 12-year cycle in which each year is represented by an animal.
Unlike the Western calendar, the Chinese Zodiac follows the lunar calendar, so the Year of the Horse does not begin on January 1st. It starts with Chinese New Year, which usually falls between late January and mid-February, depending on the moon.
When the Horse year begins, it replaces the previous animal and sets the energetic tone for the year ahead.
Historically, the Horse has held a place of deep respect in Chinese culture. Horses were essential for travel, agriculture, communication, and warfare, symbolizing freedom of movement and the ability to cover great distances. Because of this, the Horse became associated with progress, strength, endurance, and independence.
In ancient times known as the “Age of the Horse,” horses were vital to building empires and connecting distant regions, making them a powerful emblem of forward momentum and human ambition.
Energetically and symbolically, the Year of the Horse is considered a time of action, change, and personal freedom.
Horse years favour bold moves, fresh starts, and stepping out of comfort zones.
They encourage independence, confidence, and following one’s own path — sometimes at a fast pace.
While this can bring excitement, opportunity, and adventure, it can also challenge people to stay grounded and avoid burnout.
At its best, the Year of the Horse invites us to trust our inner drive, move toward what lights us up, and reclaim a sense of vitality and purpose.
May this Year of the Horse be a wonderful one for you
