A BASIC CHAKRA BALANCE FOR YOUR ANIMAL COMPANION

This is a recap of what I taught earlier today. It's a very basic outline that you can adapt to suit you and the animal you are working with.
It can be used to balance one single chakra to address a specific issue OR, and this I personally prefer, you balance the entire system.
WHY? because they work as a team and balancing each one increases their synergistic potency as a key energetic team.
Get yourself balanced, set the intention, explain to your animal companion what you are going to do and 'ask consent' - don't forget, throughout ALL work with animals THEY show you the way, THEY signal when it's enough THEY are the guides.
STOP if they freeze or hold their breath, the lips tense up, eyes roll, tail clamps or sudden agitation and wanting to leave the space. simply come back to figure 8'ing between your heart and theirs, bringing them back to a feeling of gentle safety.
As a rule of thumb a session could last up to 5 minutes on a sensitive animal or one new to the work and up to 10 minutes for large or more familiar animals. No fixed rule.
Do sessions 'as needed', maybe a short one daily if there is a specific problem otherwise once a week.
There will be signs that the session is working - e.g.
yawning
licking
blinking
shifting of weight
deeper breathing or sighing
moving closer
lying down
sudden shake off
Basic protocol
Rub your hands together and shake them off
Place one hand (doesn't matter which, go with what feels comfortable) on the ROOT CHAKRA
Place the other on the HEART CHAKRA (chest, shoulders or withers)
Synchronise breathing, slow it down
Imagine weight dropping downwards
Sense the connection opening and building
Focus on the energies of love and safety
Trace off legs and tail
NB this alone can rebalance so much.
Now we'll move onto the balancing ...
Place one hand in the animal's field above the chakra
The other hand rests on YOUR heart (or belly) to further deepen the connection specific to that chakra.
Wait for a sign of 'softening' it could be a sigh, blink, yawn or shift of weight.
With either hand, or both hands, slowly circle above the chakra, because you have deepened the connection the energy will follow your hand in the spiralling motion, you may feel inclined to spiral outwards and upwards ... follow what your hand/s want/s to do.
Normally that first movement goes in an ANTI/COUNTER CLOCKWISE direction to draw out the energies.
We then spiral in the opposite direction i.e. in a CLOCKWISE direction to integrate and stabilise the chakra's flow.
End with tracing a FIGURE 8 over the chakra
Ensure you are moving slowly and intuitively and follow the animal's signals/cues. They will tell you went to finish, but it will only be a matter of minutes, far less than when working on a human.
3 WAYS OF ENDING
Simple ending ....
End as you began: one hand over the chakra and the other on your heart.
Smile and tap into the energy of love, safety and healing
Hold just for a few seconds.
Cross-holds ending ...
One hand on their heart chakra (chest or shoulders)
the other hand on the chakra you were working on, or any chakra that draws your attention
Smile, breath and hold for 5-15 seconds.
Donna's Celtic Weave ...
Why? because it integrates all the work + calls in the energetic trouble-shooters i.e. the Radiant Circuits.... to finish off and integrate the work.
Use slow large figure 8 motions over the body, maybe weaving the chakras together as a team.
A minute will do
AND FINALLY ......
Hook up anywhere on the back to anywhere on the belly.
This activates a circuit of energy that stimulates the Yin and Yang energy reservoirs, which in turn feeds all the meridian pathways AND integrates fully any chakra balance.
and need I say it ?
Ensure YOUR chakras are balanced so osmosis can play a positive role!
