SHOCK POINTS

If your dog suffers a shock or trauma – here are some useful points to know – see the video below.

Start with a MUMMY LICK - gently stroking along the sides of the mouth and jaw, it imitates the maternal licking when they are born, so is comforting and calming.

Massage any one of the 3 key shock points, you don’t have to do all three, dogs normally prefer the tips of the ears.

1. INSIDE TIP OF EACH EAR

2. BETWEEN THE UPPER LIP AND NOSTRIL – Cupid’s Bow Area

3. LARGEST PAD ON THE BACK PAWS – both left and right

PLUS ‘title tattle’ with love and remember they respond so sensitively to YOUR energies and emotions, so if the trauma is happening – get yourself as calm as you can and by osmosis it will help calm your dog.
